Default Rep Changed?

So i've been out of action for the last few months, so what in the name of odin's great furry ballbag happened to the little green bars and the rep numbers? I liked the big numbers more

McMuffin! Welcome back!

As for rep, Heresy had a bad dose of Russian hacking fairly recently, so to get the site backup Jez had to entirely scrap the old rep system, meaning everyone lost their rep stash. The new system also limits all rep givings to a +1 maximum to make things more commun- ...er fair.

Rep hasn't been the same since the ability to neg was removed, but the current system is much better anyways.

I've been on forums where users have tens of millions of rep leading to forum-wide elitism. It's fucking terrible and kills creativity/free-thinking.

And that was one of the reasons behind this change, just like a variation of that elitism was a driving force behind the dropping of negative rep.

Damnation is paved on good intentions; subtle and sugar coated or blunt and honest
A hero is someone who steps up when everyone else backs down.
Popularity is what people strive for when they lack the strength to be themselves.

Seriously, is it really that hard to write reviews without spoilers?

Cheers lads, just wanted to know what had happened to it. Seems fairer this way anyway, probably a good decision.

Now I need to get my head back into 40k.
