Default 2 skaven warbands

Hey just after some help on which list is better

Adept sling dagger extra dagger
Black skaven claws
Black skaven claws
Sorcerer spear
Night runner sling club
Night runner sling club

7 verminkin club slings

Adept - sling, extra dagger
Black Skaven - sling, extra dagger
Black Skaven - sling, extra dagger
Sorcerer - extra dagger
Night Runner - sling, club
Night Runner - sling, club

3 Verminkin - sling, club
3 Verminkin - sling, club
2 Verminkin - sling, club
2 Verminkin - sling, club

Now I like each list due to claws in one and numbers in the other, I'm more wondering which one will be better though.
Thanks for the help

How ironic it is that as fast as we spread progress and hope throughout the galaxy, the Tyranids spread death and despair. Only united can we hope to stand against them.

I am partial to purchasing fighting claws for the Adept and Black Skaven at war band creation. It gives them +1 attack and you can parry and re-roll with them as well. For the first skill advance I would suggest The Art of Silent Death. It grants +1 attack (+2 with the claws) and the Adept would cause a critical wound on a 5 or 6. For the second advance I would go with Strike to Injure, which adds +1 to all injury rolls. Don’t forget the Adept has an extra –1 modifier to all of his opponent armor saves. Right there you have a Skaven that can drop people like a toilet seat. Resilient and Might Blow are awesome for Skaven with fighting claws.

I am also a big fan of swords and their ability to parry and clubs because of the ‘stun’ rule. If you can afford it, give swords and clubs to your Sorcerer and Night Runners. Slings are a must and most of your heroes can get shooting skills. You can harass a war band with slings and pelt them all game. The Eshin Sorcerer has some of the nastiest magic in the game. Keep him alive and use his magic on hard to kill heroes.

Undead and possessed will give you a hard time because they cause fear and your low leadership. Rat Ogres look great on paper but are considered normal henchmen. Which means shooting and/or powerful heroes can easily kill them.

Your greatest asset is your numbers. And your weakest is your low leadership. Always max out your heroes for exploration. Don’t fight fair. Gang up and fight two or three against one. Have henchmen down an opponent then get those Night Runners in there to take him/her out and gain the XP. Giant rats are great for bogging down tough opponents like vampires and their undead, possessed and powerful heroes. If you have extra cash buy some rats. Use terrain: stay out of the open and flank, get up high and jump down on your opponents. You have a nice high initiative so try those diving charges.
