Default Help me design chaos fleet

Hola people

I'm going to buy some Chaos ships and i need your help for the consecutive fleet set-up.
I'll buy:
1 repulsive grand cruiser
4 chaos cruisers

this said, i'm aiming toward a 1000 pts list

I was thinkin:
1 Repulsive GC (extra shield + dorsal lance range increase+ Chaos Lord) 280

2 Devastation Cruisers 380

2 Murder Cruiser 340

1000 pts total

My battleplan is to run in circles around the enemy and hit them hard at 60-45 cm and then finish wathever comes at 30 cm with torpedoes and lances from the repulsive

You guys have a better loadout?

Well in the end i sorted out something, using help from some really kind BFG experts/addicteds
A fluffy fleet of about 1500 pts should be something like this

1 Repulsive (shield and lance improvements) 255
Space Marines + Slaanesh 60

1 Styx 260
Lord w/ reroll 50

1 Hades 200

1 Devastation 190

2 Murder 340

3 Iconoclast 75

I just wanted to put it here in case someone else could find this useful to begin his chaos fleet.
Cheers

I actually like the look of most of that fleet. You have great "Closing" lances with an enemy fleet, and if you're playing an Imp fleet your going to cause them big problems with all those lances tearing through his precious prow armor. I always prefer the Torpedo equiped escorts (sorry, cant remember the names right now, maybe Infidel??) as they give a bit more tactical flexibility to the Chaos fleet, but each to their own.
I always thought of the Styx as a bit pricy, but since they lowered the cost its definatly doable now. The only slight issue I would say is with the MoS on your Styx your putting your most valuable ship within 15cm of the enemy fleet which is quite risky. I always used my Styx as a stand off support vessel (ordinance and long range weapons etc) as its only as tough as a normal cruiser but will give away many VP's if destroyed.
For the cost you could more or less field a Desolator Battleship (300pts) which would give you more lances, at longer range, plus the torps plus the additional toughness/hp that a BS brings to the table. My favourite tactic is to get a Desolator with a mark of Khorn and know your going to destoy anything you board in 1 turn! However this might not fit with your fluff so if youve got a plan, stick to it .
What is the fluff behing this fleet/mark anyway?
Any specific plans for that MoS? Or just the general downgrade to the enemies leadership?

Real Men/Women/Aliens/Heretics/Warp Spawned Filth/Big Scary Space Monsters play Battlefleet Gothic... why dont you???

Hi Phrazer, thanks for the comment.
This fleet tries to be fluffy without being a waste of money
The fluff part is about a Space Marines Chapter betraying and swearing allegiance to Slaanesh. Their Battlebarge is crippled and then destroyed by Space Wolves so the surviving slaaneshite marines hop on board their old reserve ship (the repulsive). The rest of the fleet is part of the second line reserve fleet of the sector involved in the conflict plus some pirates and mercenary. I am currently playing a campaign to determine the events and the future of my beloved traitors.
The mark is there just for fluff :D
Besides, the repulsive is dangerous at midrange and within 15 cm it can profit greatly from the space marine crew, boarding even slightly damaged battleships.
The Infidel is great indeed. But I can't find the extra points to field those bad boys...
I guess i will use the iconoclast as bomber/torpedo bait for the repulsive.
