Default Favourite Specialist Game?

What is your favourite Specialist Game?

Personally I would have to say mine is Mordheim. I've always loved it, as well as the minis that are available for it.

Regards,
Jake.

Before the release of Dark Heresy I would have said Inquisitor as I like RPGs and it sort of filled the gap without having to do lots of work adapting another system to fit 40K; however, I always played using 40K miniatures as - whist the large models are great visually - creating a convincing angry mob in hard enough with small models.

Not so sure now; I am divided between Necromunda and Battle Fleet Gothic.

I have only played Mordheim and I loved it so I guess it's gotta be that. My dwarven sharpshooters were the bane of many a human and pointy ear.

I like Necromunda, for the tactical way it works and the consequences of every action as well as good personalization scope.
Battlefleet gothic would be the second best because I like the idea of loads of space ships flying through space!

epic (my all time favorite. good tactical rules, not that kiddo 40k stuff. cool models. TITAN BATTLEGROUPS :D ), bfg (astract but well balanced rules. awesome converting and scratchbuilding possibilities), blood bowl (does not need any words), space hulk (i simply like that claustrophobic feeling).

but didn't we have a thread excatly for tis topic already?

There is no such thing as too many tanks.

In a way. There is one for what Specialist Games we would like to see fully supported already which made me consider not posting this thread as it is a similar question, but this thread is a more specific 'Which is your favourite one?' rather than a list of games you want to see supported more. Plus when I thought about my answer to both of these and realised my answers would be different I thought I'd post it anyway as I figured there's not really any harm in doing so.

Regards,
Jake.

Bloodbowl, without doubt. It is still imo the greatest game GW have ever made. Necromunda was also very cool, but the LRB for Necromunda just made the game worse with every re-write while Bloodbowl got better with every new version of the rules, until LRB4 which was amazing. Shame CRP is a bit weak imo.

Blood bowl. Its a fun game.

Necromunda in a close 2nd.

I've never played anything in epic scale, so I have no idea how good they are.
