ok i onli have 22 models including bikes and pred but if i hug cover until i am close enough to charge i should be fine. To get a 10 man tac squad i would have to drop an assault sqaud and maybe my pred. I would then gain 4 models which arent as good will be ignored as there is assualt squads in front. imho its not really worth it because it also damages my fluuf of a speed army.

Cool, you make valid points, as long as you feel comfortable with it, its definatly a killy list. Play test it and see how it runs. Good Luck.

I hope im not to late in adding a suggestion.

you dont want tact squads due to them not being what blood angels are about. you want to assault and be fast and aggressive.

keep in mind dc is a non scoreing unit. I run a jump army (DoA)
but if you are looking for a pretty good competitve list look into something like this
HQ- Librarian/w jumppack,plasma pistol. shield and rage.-140pts
-honour guard/w jumppacks.4 meltaguns.-205 pts
-elites, 1x sanguinary priests with jumppacks-50 pts
-troops, assault squad 10x with jump backs 2x meltaguns and powerfist.-235
-Deathcompany, say you wanna just add 5 dc. 2x thunderhammer, 2x power fist. plus jumpcacks- 225 pts
-Lemartes-150 pts
total should be around 1005, you can mess around a bit more with it. you can mess around a bit more with it, personally id try and fit in vet vanguards HI is freaking awesome when they deep strike you are about to charge the same turn tieing up units you dont want getting to you. and silenceing guns at some point to anti ranged.

your going to be all up in your opponents face with an army like this.

you would deep stike the army of course, but if your looking for a more mechanized list take 2 razor backs and take off the jump backs on the assault marines

leave deathco in the back untill battle is almost over and unleash there rage cleaning up the rest of the mess.

thats just my little bit on it.
