The Wolf Guard are going to be joining each of the Grey Hunters and the Scouts.

Just wondering, how do kill points for Wolf Guard work when they split up to join other units?

Oh yeah, Comments and Criticisms would be appreciated. I've not bought anything yet, so feel free to rip it to shreds. I'd like to avoid some cookie-cutter Lasback spam though, if possible.

To be honest, I wouldn't bother with wolf scouts. They used to be cool in previous editions, but they are only kinda ok now.

I'd drop them and turn one of the wolf guard into a wolf guard terminator with a cyclone ML and put him with a squad of your LF (two extra missile shots a turn). You could probably fit another squad of grey hunters with the extra points that way as well.

As far as wolf guard go, if they join a squad as a pack leader they are considered part of the squad they join (think sergeant of vanilla marines) and don't confer an extra kill point.

as suggested you could drop 1scout squad and with the points upgrade a WG with CML and add 1more fang in each unit, otherwise drop both scout squads and take a 5man GHs unit with lasback for home objective holding and the CML guard if points allows it
A solid starting list anyway, if you really like scouts you could keep it as it is and it wont fare bad
