Sqd w/meltagun and plasma cannon will not be shooting 1 of those ea turn for probably most of the game. I would lose the meltagun or switch it out with plasmagun in 1 of the other sqds.
You have the plasma cannon sqd also w/teleport homer. that sqd seems like it would be hanging back the whole game. give diff sqd the term hon and homer.

I was thinking, should I rather than having 3 8 man squads, have 2 10 man squads, put all the upgrades on the pred, then see if I have some spare points for a few scouts? Namely ones with big snipers, which I need to replace incidently

Nice list. Personnally i Would kit the librarian out a bit more, Give the tele homes to a scout squad and get some heavy support. like 1 lascannon. or a dreadnought. coz armour 14 tanks are gonna whoop you.
