Nice list mate, the only thing I would change is get at least one more storm shield in each thunder wolf pack they will get shot alot so will help with survivability, and your one bloke who is armed with nothing can be used for wound allocation, with thunder hammers as well they dont need melta bombs so save points there, other than that mate solid.

The melta bomb was there to mix up the war gear, but I have been thinking about adding another SS to each TWC unit.

Yeah dont worry bout mixing up war gear mate, with 5 strength 10 hits on a charge, not many vehicles are gonna last, its just a point sink for yourself, get the second storm shield in defo though, gives you the chance to wound allocate which is very handy for all the shots that will come your way.

LOL I was trying to say that the MB was there for wound allocation, but I did do fell that I need another SS.

Here is my new list.

Rune Priest (Chooser, Living Lightning, Murderous Hurricane) - 110

Rune Priest (Living Lightning, Tempest's Wrath) - 100

3 Wolf Guard (3 Power Fists, 3 Combi-Meltas) - 129

8 Grey Hunters (Meltagun, Wolf Standard, Mark of the Wulfen, Rhino) - 185

8 Grey Hunters (Meltagun, Wolf Standard, Mark of the Wulfen, Rhino) - 185

9 Grey Hunters (Meltagun, Wolf Standard, Mark of the Wulfen, Rhino) - 200

10 Grey Hunters (Meltagun x 2, Wolf Standard, Mark of the Wulfen, Rhino) - 215

3 Thunderwolves (Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield, Storm Shield, Naked) - 240

3 Thunderwolves (Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield, Storm Shield, Naked) - 240

5 Long Fangs (4 Missile Launchers, Razorback w/ LasPlas) - 190

5 Long Fangs (4 Missile Launchers, Razorback w/ LasPlas) - 190

Total 1,999

I dropped 1 unit of LGs for another Rhino full of Hunters so I can have another threat moving across the table, and also I found it hard to get 3 units of LFs into cover/ good firing positions. Then I had to drop 1 LF from each pack to make up points for the extra SSs.

Yeah nice mate, gotta say Ive seen alot of LF in wolf lists and I think 3 packs of em kicks the arse out of it, not a very wolf way to play either but hey, should be able to do well with yours though.

Yes the look very very good on paper, but like I said above its very very hard to get all 3 of them into cover and a good firing position.

I actualy lke the last list best! Im not a fan of Las/plas over TL LC, but thats only a personal preference. Seems simple enough, rhino rush forward while screening the wolves. Cover fire from the Long fangs. Priests stay in the back and fire i presume? If they do, concider changing one of the secondary powers to storm caller for the save if your not in cover. Either way, it will still hit like a ton of bricks! The thing I like most in space wolves is the Counter attack. You really dont need a landraider to hit hard.

The Priests Rush forward, the force/power weapon attack and phy defense is too good to have sitting in the back.

I like Las/Plas better because 1. it stops my razorback from becoming just a metal box after 1 weapon destroyed and 2. if I sit still it can pump out 3 AP 2 shots. As you said it’s all just preference.

Thanks for the CC, the list dose very well for me.
