BA 1000pt list vs orks/IG

So Saturday I'm going to be playing a small 1000 point game against either orks or IG (were randomizing it to add difficulty) this is my initial list

Termi Liberian with storm bolter; pwers Smite and might of heros- 130

10X RAS w/ 2X melta hand flamer and PW- 210
10X RAS W/ Flamer hand flamer and PW- 195

10X Tac squad w/ Plasma Cannon and flamer

scouts w/ snipers- 75

DC Dread w/ Heavy Flamer and Blood talons
In Drop Pod

Blood Angels(3000-4000pts)- W11-L4-D6 (Plog updated 1/30/12)
Tyranids(750 pts)- W3-L1-D1
Space Wolves(about 1200 pts) W4-L1-D1 (Plog updated 2/15/12)

You can't include a DC Dread without a unit of 5 DC.

I'd swap the DC Dread for a Furioso with Blood Talons in a Pod.

Drop the Terminator Armour on the Librarian & grab a jump pack & go with a RAS.

Give both the RAS a Power Fist & 2 Meltaguns.

Drop the Tactical squad for a unit of Devastators with 4 x MLs.

Drop the Scouts & use their points to add 2 Sang Priests with packs for each RAS.

Grab a MM/HF Land Speeder or two (points depending).

Libby w/ jump pack

Elites
Sang Priest w/ jump pack and PW
Furioso w/ blood talons and HF
Drop pod

Troops
10X RAS w/ 2X melta and powerfist
10X RAS w/ 2X melta and powerfist

Heavy Support
Dev. squad w/ 4X ML

Total 995

There wasnt enough room to add the second priest so i think ill keep the RAS squads close together as they approach the enemy lines so everyone can benefit from the FNP

librarian w/ jump pack & Infernus Pistol : 140
(I recommend Sword & Shield powers)

x2 10-man assault squad w/ x2 MG Sgt w/PF: 470

x2 Sanguinary Priests w/ Jump pack: 150

x2 Dreads w/x2 TLAC: 240

Total: 1000

putting an assault Dread in a pod is a bad idea, it shows up on the first turn and does nothing, and then your opponent shoots the crap out it and 160 pts goes up in smoke.

Bhaal is correct in the assault dread getting shot to pieces on the turn it arrives. If you are set on DP a dread into their lines take the AssCannon blood talon dread with heavy flamer. This way you can at least shoot the turn it arrives.

As per the new FAQ, dreads arriving via Drop Pod count as stationary so they can fire all their weapons at once when they jump out.

and if your Dread is built for assault he has a MG and an HF, so unless you barely scattered or had a Locator Beacon Nearby(does anybody ever use these) he can't shoot anything.

Heh, a lone Furioso isn't utter fail at this points cost, just keep his AV13 way from melta! He's a troop shredder anyway.

Here another thought. Lose the tac squad and get 2 dakka press since you are going to be facing guard or orks. Dakka preds destroy light infantry.

I quite like Bhaal's idea (+rep fella), the TL-AC Dreads are death to Ork vehicles, they're also pretty ok against Chimeras etc & can really hurt units that you want to peel some wounds off before charging.
