^ I have to assimilate those Formations still. Good call!

Unfortunately Canada got rid of the penny and now my two cents rounds down to zero, so...take it for what you will.

1 squad of Speeder (I'd probably run a double melta, because you want to be in close for the benefits) and 2 Stormtalons.
Love this idea

This is a pretty tight list man. If I were to give it a twist to my preferences while maintaining the same units, I'd play:

I will be taking your Librarian and Sternguard builds. You are right 1800, only 5 man devastator squads would make me uncomfortable, I plan to combat squad upon landing and leave a mess in lots of squads

I get why ya like 10 man Dev squads, I just figure with 6 Pods coming down T1 you'll have the enemy on their toes for target priority in their following turn. By all means, take what works for you out of it.

Just remembered this comment, what if you use the fancy new BA Tactical squad painted black for non DC and have the actual DC using their kit with all the big red X's all over them? You could go further with painting cues, but the DC are just awesome if you ever find yourself interested in including them. Not this this list particularly needs them, just in general in a BA army.

Keep in mind I can't process the points right now, but I'd probably try to get the Devastators using Grav weaponry, and the Sternguard using Combi-Meltas. Reason being you'll be dropping the Sternguard somewhere where you REALLY want one turn to nuke a vehicle probably, while the Grav weaponry is far superior to be used over and over again. You might need to find some points to do it with, and I think that'd be your Deathwind Launchers.

I'm also thinking ditch the Combi-Plasma on your HQ. Very expensive, very situational. Again, use the points to what really matters, and that's those devastators. But if you REALLY want to mess with people in close combat, it might be worth swapping out the Force Weapon for that relic sword that I can't think of that gives AP2.

What would you spend the remaining 50 points on?

This is how I think I will do it:

Army builder army list here

Archangels Strike Force

HQ - Librarian: 130 Points
Terminator Armour, Force Sword, Storm bolter, Digital Weapons, Mastery Level 2

ELITES - Furioso Dreadnought: 180 Points
Frag Cannon, Heavy Flamer
Dedicated Transport - Drop Pod
Deathwind Launcher

ELITES - Furioso Dreadnought: 165 Points
Frag Cannon, Heavy Flamer
Dedicated Transport - Drop Pod

ELITE - 5 Sternguard: 195 Points
5x combi-meltas
Dedicated Transport - Drop Pod

Raptor Wing

FAST ATTACK - Storm Talon: 115 Points
Skyhammer Missile Launcher

FAST ATTACK - Storm Talon: 115 Points
Skyhammer Missile Launcher

FAST ATTACK - Land Speeder: 70 Points
Dual Multi-melta

Skyhammer Annihilation Force

FAST ATTACK - 10 Assault Marines: 215 Points
2 Flamers
Veteran Sergeant; Power Fist

FAST ATTACK - 10 Assault Marines: 215 Points
2 Flamers
Veteran Sergeant; Power Fist

HEAVY SUPPORT - 5 Devastators: 190 Points
4 Missile Launchers
Dedicated Transport - Drop Pod
Deathwind Launcher, Locator Beacon

HEAVY SUPPORT - 5 Devastators: 260 Points
4 Grav Cannons
Dedicated Transport - Drop Pod
Deathwind Launcher

Missile launchers may not be the best suit I have thought. They are just as good at 48" as up close, Multi-Meltas benefit from being dropped close to a tasty target.

Except MMs are basically useless if you're not facing a serious mech army. MLs can wreck vehicles pretty decently and wreck hordes with frag missiles. If you want a melta drop look to your Sternguard. How many AV14 targets will your enemy have that they and your grav Devs can't handle?

In complete honesty the only thing I would do to change this list is drop the locator beacon and all deathwind missile launchers, the veteran sergeant upgrades, and the stormbolter from the Libby to upgrade the other Devastator squad to having grav as well. None of those upgrades will be as effective against your enemy as four more grav cannons firing on T1.

Unfortunately Canada got rid of the penny and now my two cents rounds down to zero, so...take it for what you will.
