Splitting up special weapons on bikes to me kinda takes the punch away, but at the same time it offers a little more versatility. It's really a matter of preference. I keep them with the attack bike.

Typhoons all the way. They can stay out of range of bolters. They also have jink. They fit in so nice with bikes.

And there's a major downside to the stormwing. I run it at 1500 sometimes and that single roll that sounds so sweet is the undoing of this formation. More than one game I've had them sitting in reserves until turn 4. Anything 1750+ I always make room for reserves manipulation when taking these guys. It's just 400+ points sitting on a shelf and not killing anything half the game otherwise.
