Default 1850 sw

So new shiny things...

Wolf Lord w/ TWM, SS, Armor of Russ, Black Death. 230 pts

Rune Priest ML2, Bike, MB. 110 pts

5 WGP on bikes with SS and either a Frost Axe, Frost Blade, or Wolf Claw 300 pts

3 TWC with SS, 2 with Wolf Claws, 1 with TH, 1 MB. 240 pts

10 man GH w/ 2MG, CCW, PW, DP 220 pts

10 man GH w/ 2MG, CCW, PW, DP 220 pts

15(16) Bloodclaws w/ Lukas, 2MG, PW 295 pts

Stormwolf with 2MM (Bloodclaws DT) 235 pts.

Figure flank the bikes up one side and the calvary up the other side. Bloodclaws will come on and hit the side that needs support. The GH come down on objectives, or they walk/start on objectives and the empty objective secured DPs come down on objectives to annoy the other player.

For the Wolf Lord, I'm in two minds between Black Death and The Fangsword, AP2 is nice, but I think Unwieldy really negates the fucking awesomeness of the Armour of Russ. I like the Fangsword, since you're still striking at Initiative, which means no unit in the game strikes before you in a challenge, and only I10 models strike at the same time. Rending plus Helfrost really negates the lack of AP2 in a lot of ways as well. It's really a personal choice at the end of the day i suppose, each of them has their own benefits.

I'd definitely be putting a hood on that Rune Priest, since he'll be denying on a 4+ or even a 3+ against mastery level 1 psykers. Are you going to run divination on him to re-roll hits for the bikers and hopefully get Misfortune? Biomancy might be decent on him too, for enfeeble.

I think 3 Wolf Claws and 2 Power Fists are the way to kit out that WG biker unit, since wolf claws are now awesome. If you're running storm shields then theres no point taking Frost weapons since you can't get the bonus attacks anyway.

The TWC loadout is exactly what i'd go for, plenty of punch. I assume one of the Claws is on the Cavalry leader yeah? Although with 2 wounds you could get away with an unwieldy weapon on him

I'd prefer flamers on Those blood claws myself, since BS3 isn't very reliable with expensive meltaguns. Also, why Lukas the trickster? He isn't bad, but he is quite expensive and caps their leadership at an unfortunate 8

Nice list though, I like it, plenty of punch and some hard hitting CC units

Lukas is more for shits and giggles really, he fills up the bus since he adds onto the 15 man unit.

I think I am agreeing with you on the Black Death vs Icefang. If I keep the Black Death I probably would drop the Armor of Russ to simple Runic Armor.

Good point on both the hood and flamers.

Frost weapons was just because they are the same price as the Wolf Claws.
