Default 2000pts Ultramarines vs Imperial Guard

In i few days Im about to play a game against my IG friend. Only played against him i few times before and the result has been mixed.

I know about what he owns and thats about 2000pts:

1 Basilisk
2 Leman Russ
1 Hellhound
xxx Guardsmen
20 Kasrkin
3 Sentinel lascannon+multi laser
A bunch of HW-Teams

What am I suppose to field agains him? I own a 8500pts Ultramarines army, and got about everything including Drop Pods. That I dont own is Rhinos, I actually only own 1 of them.

Help would be very appriciated!

you could field an army of assult marines. guard fail at combat. the IG seem pretty stable by the way apart from the sentinel part

Yeah the IG fail in CC

I will field my 10 Assault Marines & a 10 Assault Termies
When and if the arrive to the enemy lines the should me able to chew about everything down.

But thats only 20 models in my 2000pts army
this is how i have come this far:

10 Assault Marines
10 Assault Terminators
1 Landraider Crusader
1 Liberian
1 Chapter Master
1 Devastator Squad
1 Predator Annihilator
xx Tactical Marines

You will need some anti tank weapions, so I would put in Predator Annihilator, Devastator Squad, and some Assault Terminators with thunder hammers.

The creatures of the Warp have but one trait with which you need concern yourself - their undying contempt for the Emperor. It is your task to quell the rebellion they preach, and the only sure way is to destroy them utterly.

I'd say some tactical marines in Drop pods (to silence the big guns) and plenty of assult troops to take the fight to the emeny.

I'm not insane I just lack sanity, there's a difference....................somewhere

EMERGENCY DROP THE PREDETOR because the basilisk will take it out before it even gets a shot in. because when i verse my friends space marines the basilisk is first to kill it.
note get lots and lots of bolter fire because now in 5th ed ap5 instantly kills 5+ armour and what do guard have 5+ unless ofcoarse he chooses carapace armour which gives a 4+

if you have a terminus take it, every time iuse against IG it rapes the tanks and slowly just kills the troops. definately worth the points!

and carapace is a bitch! fighting a group of 50 conscricts with a commisar and carapace just pisses me off!

What about this
5 units of 10 tactical marines
10 assult marines
5 Assault Terminators with thunder hammers
Devastator Squad
Liberian in Terminator armour if you have him in Terminator armour
Predator Annihilator
