Default 500 Imperial Ravens

I've submitted a 1500 list a while ago but it was to ambitious to get the models ready in time so I thought I would aim for a 500 point list to start with. let me know what you think:

HQ
Libby (Force weapon)

TROOP
10 man Tac Sqd
x1 flamer
x1 Hvy Bolter

6 man Tac Sqd
x1 melta gun
TRANSPORT
razor with twin las

FAST
Stormtalon (naked)

Total 499

Honestly I like the list!
My only suggestion is try and find some points to add a skyhammer missile launcher to your stormtalon, It will doubles its damage for small point increase.
To save points maybe have ur 6 man squad in a pod and drop the razorback? You can make sure they take out their objective with the pod still dropping them where they needed.
Just a suggestion might work might not, your list is pretty nice as it is now.

Play the Game Fool!!

I was debating dropping the Razor and adding a rhino or drop pod and with the spare points beef up the ST and replace the heavy bolter with a plasma or las cannon

The only advantage with this list for me is it ties in with the 1500 army I'm trying to build, be cheers for the feed back

What Chapter Tactics are you running?
Personally, I like the RB with Las cannons. It has the potential to destroy whatever light armor the enemy brings and threatens his characters with ID unless they have T5.

Well my 1500 point list and army theme is using raven guard tactics but i suppose this list wouldn't benefit, I've not really thought of it to be honest. I suppose with the number of bolters and heavy bolters my 500pt list could use the Imperial Fist chapter tactics... Although i do like the iron hands "the flesh is weak" chapter tactic

Hey mate. It's been a while since I played a Raven Guard army (I play GKs now), but when I last played them at the turning of 5th edition into 6th I ran a force similar to this for ~500 point:

Chaplain in terminator armour with a storm Bolter

5 man thunder hammer and storm shield terminator squad

5 man scout squad with camo-cloaks, sniper rifles and 1 rocket launcher

5 man scout squad with camo-cloaks, sniper rifles and 1 rocket launcher

Land Raider redeemer with a Multi-melta

Generally, at 500 points no one can deal with AV14 and 6 terminators. Scouts camp on objectives with +1 to cover and snipe vehicles with snipers and krak missiles or infantry. Scouts have a longer range and are cheaper than your average marine and just as durable if you throw them in a ruin. Plus with infiltrate they can deploy more flexibly and aggressively.

Not saying you should run exactly that list, but in a 500 round robin tournament I didn't lose a single match, so it worked well for me!

Your list looks good, I would advise keeping the razorback as it has more uses than an drop pod. If you want to lose points maybe take out the heavy Bolter to save points as it won't get that many extra kills.
Deus mortis that sounds like one hell of a list :D

Matt Ward declared death pit on the Eldar god Khaine. To celebrate his victory he held the most awesome party ever and all the Eldar were invited. The intense pleasure from the orgy with him spawned Slannesh, created the Eye of Terror and destroyed the Eldar empire. Their last words were, "worth it."
So spread the word, and beware of Matt Ward for he can Death Pit at any time.

This sounds to good to be true but are you sure it's 500pts in 6th edition? I'm sure it's over 400points for the termites and land raider. If it is then wow

that force with the chap and terminators sits at around 760 pts, but still a nice force
