The plan is for the Tactical Squad with the Drop Pod to drop down Turn 1. Instead of dropping down near the enemy, the squad drops down defensively, reacting to enemy deployment. It holds a midfield objective and meltas any tank that drives by. The Grav Squad drives up and holds a midfield or enemy held objective. The Aegis Defence Line will be placed near the centre line. The Plasma Tactical Squad mans the Defence Line and holds a friendly objective. The Devastators can use the Devastator Doctrine to walk up to the Aegis line on Turn 1. The sergeant can use his Signum on himself to shoot with the Quad Gun if he needs to. Tigurius takes his powers from either the Divination, Biomancy or Telepathy disciplines. He rides with the Centurions, marching up to the Aegis Line and initiating the 24 Grav threat bubble. The Vindicator starts the game out of sight and attempts to hide in ruins without being immobilised. The Stormtalon Gunship tries to arrive from reserve after enemy fliers (Tigurius can re-roll reserve rolls) and dominates the skies before attacking small groups of light infantry and light vehicles. The Assault Marines either act as a counter-attack unit, or zoom through cover to contest an enemy held objective. The Sternguard come down on Turn 2 or 3 and whittle away at enemy units.
