Default 1850 Tournament List! C&C encouraged!

Alrighty Ladies and Germs here is the low-down on my new spin off Iron Warriors List. (Yes I said Iron Warriors) I am using the SM codex because the fluff combined with the options available suite the theme of my army much more.

ANYWAY...... here is the list:

HQ
Master of the Forge
Thunder Hammer
Plasma Pistol

145 points

Troops
Tactical Squad x10
Multi-Melta
Power Fist
Flamer
Rhino + Dozer

Tactical Squad x10
Flamer
Multi-Melta
Rhino + Dozer
Power Fist
Teleport Homer

250 points

Elite
Tech Marine
Servators x4

105 points

Terminators x5
Thunder Hammer/SH

200 points

Fast Attack
Hyperios Air Defence Battery x3

105

Heavy Support
Contemptor Mortis
Twin-Linked Autocannons
Carapace Cyclone ML

215

Contemptor Mortis
Twin-Linked Autocannons
Carapace Cyclone ML

215
Contemptor Mortis
Twin-Linked Autocannons
Carapace Cyclone ML

215

Fortification

Defence Line
50

A few things I would like to points out before the C&C:
- I have 115 points to play with.
- please I am really trying to stick with a more Iron Warrior-ish theme... aka lots of long range weaponry/ servo harnesses etc.
- I will not budge on the Contemptors I love the model and am converting them heavily. They are staying in the list

Thanks in advance for your time!

Plasma Pistol Please please please never take these. Take a Combi weapon. You'll shoot it's special ammo as often as you'll shoot your pistol and you don't get the 2 weapon bonus with the Thunder Hammer anyways.

145 points

Troops
Tactical Squad x10
Multi-Melta
Power Fist This Sargent is going to get challenged out and Power Weaponed down every time. I suggest swapping the fist for a Sword or Axe if you think you'll face TEQ
Flamer
Rhino + Dozer

Tactical Squad x10
Flamer
Multi-Melta
Rhino + Dozer
Power Fist
Teleport Homer Why only a Homer in this squad? Why not put one in the other one too just in case

250 points

Elite
Tech Marine
Servators x4 These fit your theme. I'd put guns on them.

105 points

Terminators x5
Thunder Hammer/SH

200 points

Fast Attack
Hyperios Air Defence Battery x3 I'd get a Command Platform too since you have points left.

105

Heavy Support
Contemptor Mortis
Twin-Linked Autocannons
Carapace Cyclone ML

215

Contemptor Mortis
Twin-Linked Autocannons
Carapace Cyclone ML

215
Contemptor Mortis Only thing I have to say about this is I wanna see the conversions
Twin-Linked Autocannons
Carapace Cyclone ML

215

Fortification

Defence Line Take a Quad Gun. It's cheap for what it does and well worth the points.
50

Grey Knights and Dark Angels Project

Thousand Sons
Grey Knights
Imperial Knights

Alright Droopy, I read your suggestions and I liked some of them so the lettering in blue are changes made.

HQ
Master of the Forge
Thunder Hammer
Combi-Melta Added

Troops
Tactical Squad x10
Multi-Melta
Power Weapon This made sense
Flamer
Rhino + Dozer
Teleport Homer Why this was not here I am not sure. I did pay for one in each squad.

Tactical Squad x10
Flamer
Multi-Melta
Rhino + Dozer
Chain Sword
Teleport Homer

Elite
Tech Marine
Servators x5 Added one more
Plasma Cannon
Added a Cannon

Terminators x5
Thunder Hammer/SH

Fast Attack
Hyperios Air Defence Battery x2
Hyperios Air Defence Battery x2
two squds of two i think is more benificial then using 1 squad of three with a model that allows the unit to split fire.

Heavy Support
Contemptor Mortis
Twin-Linked Autocannons
Carapace Cyclone ML

Contemptor Mortis
Twin-Linked Autocannons
Carapace Cyclone ML

Contemptor Mortis
Twin-Linked Autocannons
Carapace Cyclone ML

Fortification
Quad Gun Quad Gun added.

I have 10 points left but I am not worried. I can probably add something to a rhino or something.

What do u think overall now?

The Mortis Contemptors are 200 points each according to Imperial Armour Aeronautica (the latest edition on the Contemptor). In my experience the Contemptor Mortis is one of the best SM-vehicles around, got killed only twice in the last 10 games and took down a solid amount of enemy units. If I had the money I would field three, too
Droopy's suggestions for all the rest of your list sound solid, although I personally would try to go for a third scoring unit instead of maybe the hyperios (you have enough AA on the field already)

Two Troop choices = 2-4 scoring units if combat squaded.

Yeah, but 5 Marines die much easier than 10. Sheer torrent of fire can easily disable your ability to capture objectives.

Yes but if they are focusing on my troops their army will feel the pain elsewhere. And will not be able to recover. I know it's a gamble but I have been running my CSM and some Necrons squads at 5 guys and it works for the most part.
