Default 2000 Pts Aesir Knights (Traited Marines)

This list is for a tourney coming up on Saturday. I know some of my competition may see it, lol, but oh well. Still not sure I'm really content with it though.

I normally wouldn't try and min/max Deathwatch status on my Command Squad, but since this is for a tournament every point counts.

Whats the deathwatch??r is this a specialised codex???

If you shit in one hand and wish in the other we all know which one will fill up faster.

And as I walk in the valley of the shadow of death I will have no fear For I am the scariest mother f*cker in that goddamned valley!

Specialized, yes. Codex, no.

Its a special upgrade you can give select members of your SM army as long as you arn't playing a Codex Chapter.

I forget which issue of White Dwarf they first appeared in (I have the copy... but can't remember the #) but you can also find the rules on the main GW site under the Space Marines section.

Well, it isn't a Deathwatch army. Its a Aesir Knight army led by a Deathwatch command squad. The idea is that one of my chapters Masters is a member of the Deathwatch and when he goes into combat he gathers members of the Deathwatch from within the chapter to form his select command squad. Its not a Kill-Team, so not formed from several different chapters.

It's a good force but i believe th landraider would be better transorting the termintors with the command squad in razorback behin them... or evencheaper woul be giving the command squad a teleport homer... just i would be bst to have them supporting the hq

Perhaps. But Terminators have served me best in a shooty role in the past, and I want to be able to have my command squad to assault out of the transport right into the fray. Perhaps I can try that next time, but I really don't want to try and change anything at this late of an hour.

if they suit you more as a shooty unit go on ahead just from past games I've learned never go too far ahead with a point heavy squad like a kitted out command squad... If they're not supported in close combat they will die and thats VP's for your opponent...

Anyway its a very good list and I hope you do well.

goodluck
