Try other things than just spam

Skyre special character
warp fire throwers are now much better than ratling guns
what about dual doomwheels they are the way forward for a good list

Why? It might be spam, but that's the whole point for a shoot em up.

Skyre Character is too expensive, and Ratling Guns have more synergy with Warp Lightning Cannons, which themselves are just awesome.

I think the list should work well although normally 20 rats will run away with enough good shooting and magic you should avoid the worst of that.
I'd be tempted to add something that can either push ahead on its own or be a sacrificial distraction though just to give you some space to shoot, Either an abomination or rat ogres would hold up for a turn or so or the cheaper option of swarms or slaves as a speedbump.

The problem with running an abomination is that it will kill everything before it can get shot. You should run 2. All skaven should, though it not in theme.

Okay, one: *cackles madly at all the barrels pointed at your opponent* I *hiccup* want!

*sniff, cough* Okay, two: Skavenslaves. They're cheap, expendable, have a rule that allows you to shoot through (or rather, into them, and so at the enemy unit they're fighting), can help your army get into range as well as guard flanks (depending on wheat sort of army you're facing), and they do terrific things when they finally break.

Three: *facepalm* I suddenly realize that the second bit was actually the name for the rule mentioned in the third bit. Oh well, I'd rather write this than go back and fix it. It makes the point, after all.

Just my two bits. Give it some thought if you haven't already.
