The Guard's one decent, cheap counter-assault unit. They take a bit of getting used to but are definitely usable.

Shame the models are so ugly. Soooo ugly.

The AP of a weapon isn't as much of a factor now in 5th edition with the abundance of cover saves as it used to be. Now it's more beneficial to put a lot of wounds on a unit to force...
