Default Hi guys, I'm a terrain maker.

Hello folks, I've been lurking around the board a little, decided to register and say hi

I've been making terrain seriously for a little over a year now, and with the help of another artist or two, we formed a little studio to really explore how far we can ride this thing.

I'm always looking for new ideas, tips, inspiration and feedback. I also like sharing those things as well, so without any more preamble, I'll deploy some pics here of some of my personal favorite projects, and I would be happy to discuss anything.

Here is a Necron temple we outfitted with a lot of LEDs. The whole thing actually comes apart into three pieces that can be used individually.

Here's a carnivorous plant I just finished, it was actually part of a tutorial on making realistic eyeballs.

And a couple assorted pictures.

Welcome to the board. As a terrain fan, let me say that I love your Necron and Ork pieces and I will (assuming I ever find the time to make some new pieces) use them as inspiration.

yeah me too! I have so many projects planned, I still haven't fully touched on some races like Eldar (Regular and Dark varieties), Tyranids and Tau. But I do have some pretty big gothic/imperial stuff coming up within a year, and space hulk goodies.

Some great peices there. The eye one looks great, although who in thier right mind would actually get close enough to it to be eaten?

I particularlly like the ork one, and pictures from other angles would be great.

Your toast has been burnt and no amount of scraping will get rid of the black bits.
