Default Textures/patterns and tester paints.

Hello guys and girls.

I was in Homebase DIY store yesturday and i had a look through the wallpaper section for some textured paper for my curent project, i found that its common to take a sample of the open rolls, so i did like 4 foot sample i came away with some good tile looking paper that i am going to use as floor tiles and another hatch style. There is strips meshy and more to use for floors walls or even whole tables that could be used.

I also checked out the paint area for larger volumes of paint for scenery. rules for this Must be dull finish, no shine at all and ofc non flamable etc. so i find the matt finish, the ones i found were called Calky Flat Matt from wickes, the finish effect was very matt and it mixed well and was dry pretty fast. It also smelt like acrylic art paints i used in collage.

The Wallpaper was free and the 75ml pots were on clearance for 49p each, normally 99p.

ill get some pics up soon if i can.

How much area did the 75ml pots cover?

I have seen textured paper before but never thought to use it for anything hobby related. It will beinteresting to see how your work turns out.

Your toast has been burnt and no amount of scraping will get rid of the black bits.
