Default Building tyranid capillary towers 2

Hey there everyone...
I posted this same thing under tyranids...
I got a tip to place it here...

Okay...so...I need some help with building tyranid capillary towers...
I don't really have a huge budget...
Don't really have any awesome tools...just regular stuff...
Basically...i need some suggestions on materials and stuff like that...basics...

Any suggestions would be great...

Hmm... well, you could get some styrofoam cylinders... like the kind you'd get for a school project, if you know what I'm talking about? Then, just cut 'em into the rough curved shape for each tower with a hobby knife, junior hacksaw, butter knife, or what have you... and stick toothpicks in to make the spikes. You could even spray paint it-- spray paint normally eats away at styrofoam, but it might actually be a cool effect on the towers. I don't know. If you try that though, be sure to do it outside-- melting styrofoam makes toxic fumes. I can't imagine that styrofoam and toothpicks would break the bank, either... I might actually have to give it a try myself, now that I think about it... I need to build some new terrain for the store, since people have jacked up all the stuff that I helped build that's there...
