Default Thought about Winter/Snow Theme basing

Does anyone have any experience using a white powder makeup for a dusting effect instead of going for a heavy snow?
Would rather have just a touch of white drift instead of a large amount (baking soda+Glue style)
in my head it makes sense but if anyone has tried it or has better ways to do so would greatly appreciate it

This may cover both your dusting AND drifting needs... had good results from them.

I'd suggest trying it out/practicing with it on some spare bases/scarp material to see what effect you want... Better than screwing up a scenic base/model.

Also the stuff is quite light, like flock, so be careful of drafts/fans and remember to keep the lid tight on the container to prevent unwanted accidents.
