Well, rather than play necromancer on my old thread, and seeing as there was a horrible accident involving my room-mate (on my computer) and my poor dwarf miners, the dwarf army of Kazad Hazkal is being brought back to life (without the Miners, at the moment).
So, starting afresh (and having something other than my Black Templars to paint on) I'm going with a unit of Warriors, to be armed with hand weapon and shield.
I'll be painting them up, and adding the shields afterward, to make detail-painting go smoother.
The first five are built.

'At two minutes to eleven, opposite the South African Brigade, at the eastern-most point reached by the British armies, a German machine-gunner, after firing off a belt without pause, was seen to stand up beside his weapon, take off his helmet, bow, and then slowly walk to the rear.' -John Buchan
I can't help but think that every time something is proven, a little bit of the magic of the world dies.
