Okay so here are a few pics of my Thousand Sons army as it stands right now. please forgive the poor quality i dont have access to a good camera. A couple of the shots are of some of my painted figures and the others are my Heldrake that like a moron i completely based by hand. No fancy sprays just a brush and insanity
Okay well time for an update or two first up here are my helbrutes named Crunchy and Stumpy. Crunchy, the melta brute, is named because every single time i shoot with him he misses but by god he crushes stuff in melee. Stumpy, the las brute, is named because well he just looks stumpy.
sorry for the image quality but i dont have acess to the best camera i have to make due with my wifes and its well we got it from Target on the cheap
Now here are a couple of pics of the Heldrake, i posted some earlier of it based now here are a few of it in a sort of half done mode. Yes all of my stuff looks half done. My mind wont let me focus on one project for too long i have to work on something else, then add on carpal tunnel and arthritis in my hands and a nice case of nerve damage and you end up with my army
Now here are two of my terminators and my terminator lord Not sure how much i like the blue on the lightning claws might make them purple or add some effect any advice would be great. Have to say thanks to Nord for the tip on yellow colored metal, some people i play with like the effect my reaper has because of it
Alright here is my Land Raider which i got for a steal. GW wants 74 us and i got it for 57 at my local comic shop. I went with the Warpflame Gargoyles and i took the covers off the sponsons and the bolter because i like the look better
Have to say thanks to Nord for the tip on yellow colored metal, some people i play with like the effect my reaper has because of it
Anytime mate, glad to be of assistance
Your stories about your Helbrutes made me laugh out loud here at work. I've had the EXACT opposite situation with my Helbrute; He wrecks things when shooting but couldn't hit the broad side of a barn in close combat
I think Tawa is a temporal entity that exists outside of the hobby/modeling timeline. Essentially, he's the Heresy Online equivalent of a Time Lord... which is kinda hilarious and frightening all at the same time.
"God-Emperor? Calling him a god was how all this mess started."
