Default My plastic dark riders!

Woo! first picture up!
This is the first of a whole squad of dark riders I'm making and I'm just curious as to what people think of it.
It's using mostly parts from the wood elf glade riders box plus weapons from the dark elf warriors box and a lot of greenstuff
What do you think?

Any comments, negative or positive, are very helpful so thanks =)

looks very good from what i can see. when you take your pics set the mini down and use the timer. will give you a clearer pic. maybe a backdrop(single color, most use white). I normally just drape a white t-shirt over a box and set the mini on the shirt in fron of the box.

Trust is a dagger, the hilt as sharp as the blade.

Thanks for the advice. I will do it from now on. what do you think of the actual model though?

I really like the model, tis a good idea converting them, I may have to nick it for my Druchii I particularly like the highlighting on the horses armour, works well. The only criticism i have is that the horse looks a bit shiny, but i think thats the picture more than anything else. I loook forward to seeing more later.

I also think that it worked really well. I'm going to make some Ellyrion Reavers out of my glade rider bits (despite the fact that I probably won't use them).

The neck joint of the glade rider and glade guard kits are very poorly designed. There's no slot for the neck to go into so it's easy for the neck to look crap.

I didn't greenstuff the neck joint yet but I am getting round to it. The shinyness is because the model was a bit close to a light source.
And thanks for the positive output. I was a little unsure on this guy

I got the idea from a GW guy but all he did was change the heads. i tried it and it looked crap so I expanded on it
