Default Space Marine Captain Fett

As I've just recently gotten into the hobby (and am limited on funds for the moment), I decided to use an old broken Boba Fett bobblehead to practice on. I started off basically this(forgot to take a before picture):

with the antenna-type thing broken from his helmet. I'll probably prime and paint it later and attach it to the model, since I still have it. Here's my set-up:

As you can see, it was a bit windy outside, so I put him inside the box here:

Here's the finished product after priming.

Then it was on to doing a base coat, mixing Americana Grey Sky with some Cool White to get my ideal color:

Had to turn the head around to be able to get to parts of the model:

Finished product:

I did some touch-ups before bed, such as on the shoulder, etc. Used some very fine steel wool to smooth up parts of the helmet as well. Probably going to start shading the recesses and adding the rest of the color today. This is the first time I've painted a model of any kind, so I'm open to any tips or advice.

Yes, but I'm just using it as practice since I've never done this before.

[strikethrough]About to start doing a wash, then some of the colors. Will edit pictures into the post once I'm done.[/strikethrough]

Been running into some problems. Will begin working on this again once I figure some stuff out.
