Default Crimson Fists 2,000 pts (2.0)

Hey guys,

So a few months back I posted the beginnings of my Crimson Fists force, and I didn't feel like ressurecting the old post so I'm making a new one, with the entire army finished and ready for judgement

Im not a brilliant painter, but I know that a decent colour scheme and consistency can make an army look pretty good, and I'm proud of this one.

Anyway, here it is!

always happy to see anything with the word fist in it, nice work, but considering i'm still living in the 1900's and don't have facebook the content is not viewable for me but from the look of the army as a whole good stuff

The link doesn't work for me.

But hey from what I can see your army looks great mate, great detailing and nicely themed. You should be proud it's a great effort.

How long did it take you to paint them all?

@magpie - I started in about September/October I think, been painting on and off since then.

I have a 2k list of Grey Knights I'm starting today, the goal is to have it painted and ready to go by June

Thanks man!
I use a mix of Regal Blue and Mordian Blue.. It's somewhere between a 6/10 ratio respectively, although I often used different ratios.

I highlight as more of a trim than a realistic look, I'm gonna use the new Calgar blue (or something) for extreme highlights.

(This is a washed down Regal blue to begin with, then Badab wash over it, so its pretty dark already before highlights)

Hey guys,

The Contemptor finally arrived, and I spent a solid day on it, here's the finished product:

(Mounted on the anniversary model's base with the banner removable)

Opinions appreciated!
