I've only played once so far, but I really enjoy it as a change of pace game. What strikes me about it is that there doesn't seem to be an all-powerful crew out there that steamrollers over every opponent. Even the Bayou Gremlins look like they have a chance.

And the initial outlay isn't that bad: rules, a boxed gang, and a deck of cards (you can use regular playing cards if you want, but will have to consult the conversion chart until you have the suit changes memorized) for about $70.00 is about all.

The pellet with the poison's in the vessel with the pestle.
The chalice from the palace has the brew that is true.

Not actually heard of this one before but from having a quick look online and Reading through Durzods post it does sound (and look) pretty convincing. Might have to have a better look when I get a chance .

Regards,
Jake.

A friend bought the Lady Justice set and said the minis were real easy to paint. I've seen them and they look even better than the studio examples. I have high hopes for my gremlins, even with no artistic talent.

Posted some pics of some of my stuff a while back

https://www.heresy-online.net/forums/...ad.php?t=59771

It's a great game with a lot more depth than it appears at first. A lot of people say there are balance issues but it seems to me as though the factions and masters are actually really well balanced just that the learning curve/tactics with some of the perceived weak masters is much steeper.

Those look fantastic Strange Dude, makes me want to try and have a go at this game all the more. Whether I'll get into the game or not I don't know but I'm almost certainly going to order some minis .

Regards,
Jake.
