its not even mechwarrior 5. Its a total reboot of the series. I cant wait, the trailer looks amazing!

I've actually been playing mostly battletech recently, my lyrans vs Leatharnaks Word of Blake.

A little tidbit I heard from someone who talked to Catalyst-- there "may" be plastic battlemech kits coming out for CBT sometime soon-- Catalyst apparently wants to distance themselves from Iron Wind Metals. Kits supposedly will have all the components to make any of the configurations for omnimechs, and variant configurations for non-omnis.

Yup, we've seen the hellbringer on the sprue that someone photographed at gencon. Can't wait to get my hands on some of those bad boys. Looks like they are made from plastics that are close to GW in make.

Rumor is that the new boxed starter set may contain them?

So anyway we found an awesome way to play battletech. Its called quickstrike. It plays more like warmachine and you can have armies of massive size without games taking weeks to play.

Its in the strat ops book at the end.

Me and leath are playing the crap out of it.
