Default Avatars of war, does anyone collect/play?

Title says it all i guess, does anyone on here play or even just collect/paint the models? I took a look at some of them the other day and they ae bloody nice models. Quite easy to add to warhammer armies or just to paint up as a nice one off model. (imho)
To be honest, 40kempire will be stockong them soon and would just like a rough idea how popular they are. We will probably order a few of each in the range to start and see how it goes from there.
Also we would more than likely be discounting them like the rest of the items we stock so would that make people more likely to buy them?

Anyway, any help or opinions would be appreciated.

I've certainly thought about it - the Beastman Hero and the Dier Wolf are tidy models, and the Berserker Human looks like a good pose for an Exalted Champion for my Warhammer.

However, I've not bought one as yet, but I am definately looking into it in the near future.

One thing the site misses is colour images of its painted model.

I'm a keen collector of Avatars of War.

Their miniatures really appeal to me and I have one of each of them so far but will be thinking of getting duplicates at some point. The models are really well detailed and fun to paint. I also playtested Arena Deathmatch and I can honestly say it's one of my favourite games due to the way it plays and the aspect of it.

I believe they are pretty popular, they're just a relatively small company at the moment but Felix has said recently how well they are growing. They've just recently moved into a larger shop due to the expansion of their business.

I'd say give it a go! As you said, stock a couple of them and see how it goes, if it goes well, try some more, if it goes bad, don't stock anymore.

Good luck either way

Regards,
Jake.

Aye, I have both Dark Elf models and they are very good. I'd certainly consider others in the range and would recommend them to friends.

Have all their models.
Am external playtester.
LOVE the game.

Arena Deathmatch ftw!

Lemartes is the ugliest model there is.
The constant use of him via the "counts as" rule is sickening and borders on power gaming.
Why do you think there's a normal Chaplain in the army list?
SCREW LEMARTES!

I have the Orc Warboss and the Orc Shaman. They're part of my WHFB army. Honestly, I really think the Avatars of War arena rules are there so that Felix doesn't get sued by GW for making unlicensed third-party stuff for their game.

I really like the Avatars models, but haven't had the time to play a game or anything like that yet. I'm just too involved in other games right now, but it's on my plate for things to do in the future.

I think their model range so far is great, I have the slayer and the goblin boss and will hopefully get some more soon especially the chaos dwarf.
I haven't tried the rules set yet due to lack of opponents but it looks good from what I've seen.
