Haqq here. I've played about 4 games against my buddy (who's been out of 40K for years) and loved it!

Painting up my models. Fuck they're small. lol Damn you GW for spoiling me with badly proportioned models!!!

Strange, but not a Stranger.

Well, it's not like the proportions on Infinity models are in any way much more realistic... ;) Definately not with the newer releases.

I love Infinity but I don't really get to play it or like it much. Meaning that I got this unhealthy habit of getting new minis, sometimes even having the time to paint them up but I don't really play it because let's be honest - Infinity has some problems. Tons of special rules, most of them with different levels to them and subsequently the problem of people "combo'ing" special rules which is something I really don't like in wargaming. Infinity also tries a bit hard being tournament friendly or appealing to people who like to WIN and like crunching numbers and such which isn't a gaming enviroment I'm all too happy with.

Still, all that being said, I somehow adore the system because at its core it's really good. It's just inflated.

My group up here is looking into it. I've got the rulebooks from their site... a lot of rules.

Typical battles are
100, 150, 200, 300 and 400 points.
With that it can be 3+ miniatures, averaging 4-6 for the early point levels.

I'm guessing that since my search for Infinity rulebooks in iOS came back w/ nada that there's nothing out there?

There's a whole Wiki: http://wiki.infinitythegame.com/en/Main_Page

Between that and the free PDFs I think you're covered!
