Default Magic the Gathering Players?

I was wondering if there were any MTG players here, I need some help on some of my decks, plus I enjoy the discussion of deck sizes?

Hell yeah, dude...back in the day, though. It's been about 6 months since my last game (though I did beat up on 3 other players in about 5-6 turns...), and 3 years or so since I played regularly, so I don't know how much help I'll be able to give you as I've not bought a card since then...

As for deck sizes, I'm definitely a proponent of minimization. Always maximizes the chance of drawing a clutch card in any given situation. I always build my decks to the minimum size

Magic is a dirty word 'round here. We compete with Magic players for the game room on Friday nights, and those jerks can't stack multiple copies of their cards so they take up more space than 40k games for a given game...

Don't get me wrong-- Magic is/was a decent game... I haven't played in a good six years or so, and I never played competitively, so I don't know how it's changed.

Yeah I too have fallen victim to the power of magic. My collection is mostly old school stuff, haven't bought cards for 4 years. Since they stopped real type 1 tourneys I have lost interest. Send/post a list and I'll help out where I can.

Did I mention that I love scarabs...

Good afternoon gentlemen...

I used to play, but lost interest after Lorwyn, and fell in love (again) with the hobby we all know and love, 40K!

oh snap, it would be cool to play magic at the local hobby shop, win the draft, then play in the 40k tournament right after it. with both hobbies running u become poor fast though.

I play a lot more magic than 40k mostly because of how much easier it is to play in competitive tournaments for magic. I do prefer to play 40k tho.
