Bad Moons, Yes or no?

ok i see a ton of lootas and biker nobs in this forum but very little in the way of mega nobz. i assumed it was because mega nobs are "fluffy newb cheese" and not viable on a tournament circuit.

i dont like to think that every codex has one way to win and some units are good and some are just crappy. as an 8 year veteran of the game i have seen conscripts fend off bloodthirsters so i know everything has its merit. hoping someone can tell me why we dont see so many meganobs and also take a look at what i have going so far.

mega armor warbos

7 mega nobs with 2 combi-scorchas and 2 combi-rokkits /w battle wagon
7 mega nobs with 2 combi-scorchas and 2 combi-rokkits /w battle wagon
20 'ard boyz includes nob with power claw

1 flashgitz with painboy
battle wagon (for flash gitz)
battle wagon (for ard boyz)

questions, comments, concerns, bitches, gripes, complaints?

mega nobz do not have a 5++ to rival all other termie like units.

generally if you want to take battle wagons then most people take a big mek with a KFF so they dont get flanked and steamrolled. also they are VERY slow when they get out of the battlewagon. so if you are against a mobile army then all they need to do is pop the wagons via side/rear armor and run away like eldar/tau like.
