It's a good list, but I'd drop the Deff Dredds in favour of more boyz or more Lootas.

Hey up King!

I read your post on your blog a few days ago. Here's a few thoughts:

HQs are sound, I do like a burna myself but not mandatory, however a cybork body is as it will get butchered in assault with 6+ armour save.

TBH I've found 5 Lootas do the job well, you only need that 5 or 6 once to come up when taking out vehicles.

Hmmm Boyz on foot without a Nob and a boss pole. I saw your reasoning behind the Nob and power klaw, but you at least really need a boss pole - even with cover you're still going to lose some and kill 10 from a unit forces morale without a bosspole they run - actually are Boyz LD6 or LD7? I know Nobz are 7.

Deff Dreads are wicked models, though I can see you've got them for cover. I was going to say not sure on the rokkits but they will hit just as much as the Boyz will.

To be Honest i don't see anything Scary about this list...Ork shooting is well...Not exactly the best thing to rely on... Yes you have tons of shots but on the other hand 70% of them wont hit, and of the 30% that do half of that won't do anything! Not to mention you seem to be lacking Close combat defense so if an army like dark eldar, or blood angels got close...well...its Game over and theirs really nothing i can see that would be able to do anything about it. IF you want some what better armored shooting take Killa-kans Shooty Deff-dreads are a complete waste of points. (I run all dreads in my list's due to it being a deff-Mob so i have experience with trying to shoot with em...)

Reverse order: -
WKoA - Proper CC units with saves and/or higher I will butcher me anyway. A Klaw won't fix that. Oddly for Orks, there are no REAL CC specialists, bar Nobs and Burna Boyz.
Deff Dreads as Troops are better in a way than Kans, because it frees up HS slots, and therefore carries a much lesser Opportunity Cost.

Mercer - If I lose 11 Boyz to force Morale it's on LD10. Sure, a Bosspole almost makes that Auto-pass, but with no Save (well, 6+) it decreases shooting and combat ability, whilst making the next Morale Test harder, and sooner. No thanks.
Same vein - 5 Lootas run away easier.

TheSullenOne - I appreciate the thought, but I think you miss the point a little. Lootas don't need to kill, just do a Grey Fox, and take out the Radome. (Reference got?)

I know deff dreads are good but if you run them just give them CC weapons its easier and makes more sense. Also where did i mention a Klaw????? i would say just rebuild the list to balanced.......

Yup you're right it's 10. Then 9, then 8 then 7 and lets face it it's not hard to kill Orks by the bucket load.

How does it decrease shooting? The pole is useful not for just in combat situations but also say 25% from shooting etc. Only decrease is shooting is a single shot from the Nobz pistol.

And if 5 Lootas runaway you're not losing 9. Honestly, give them a try, I did and work well

A Bosspole decreases shooting when it starts killing my Boyz.

WKoA - Sorry, I assumed you wanted me to put Klaws or something into the Mobs to make them more resilient. The butchering happens either from Bosspoles, or any enemy unit that charges me. Orks are crap in combat, they only get by if they do the assaulting.

I don't get you. You're going to be already decreased shooting from when your Orks got shot to ribbons and you're taking a morale test because you lost 25%. What would you rather do, take a wound and possible pass that armour save and re-roll the failed morale, or fail it run off and not shoot at anything or very little? For 5 points it's a bargain.
