Orklist for the GT final

I will be going to the GT final in march. my list is pretty much set, but i have 220pts to spend. your thoughts would be appreciated.

Warboss with kombi-skorcha, powerklaw, attack squig, cyborg body.

Big Mek with Burna, kustom force field, cyborg body.

8 nobz with slugga and choppas, 2 x big choppas, power klaw, waaagh banner, bosspole, cyborg bodies, painboy

battlewagon with deff rolla, armour plates, red paint job, big shoota.

19 ard boyz with sluggas and choppas, nob with power klaw and bosspole.

30 ork boyz with shootas. 3x big shootas. nob with power klaw and bosspole

10 grotz with grot blastas runtherd with slugga, grabba stikk and squighound

battle wagon with deff rolla armour plates red paint job big shoota

this is all confirmed. the last 220 points will be spent on either

7 ork bikers with nob with power klaw and bosspole

or

deff dread with 2 big shootas

3 x killa kans with big shootas

These are my options but any other ideas will be listened to.

ditch the ard boys for reg boys take the bikes and with that you should have the points for the killakans with big shootas. imo i whould thin ditch the deffrolla and armplates on the bwagon for better guns for your kkans like rokkets thay have not faild me yet.

i personally think that deff rollas and arm plates are a must. i have thought about dropping the eavy armour from the boys but once again it has earnt its points back in games against assault armies where combat resolution decimates this unit if it doesnt have the armour. i also like the models i have for the ard boyz.

after a couple of playtest games i am leaning towards the dread/killa kan combo. the bikes fall down suprisingly easy and tend to run away alot.

this list originally contained snikrot and i finished a very respectable 17th at GT Heat 2 so i am generally very happy with it. however snikrot was only really worth while in two of the games, one being guard.

any further thoughts will be appreciated.

Lootas

I have to say for the points a pack of 15 Lootas should provide some decent support to your traveling then charging orks. considering possible shot volume they can pop any vehicle except armour 14....15 lootas (15-45 s7 range 48"! shots) are are only 225pts

Deff rolla / EA = happy BW. I have tried some oddball stuff with battlewagons, but it always comes back to Deff rollas being more than worthwhile.

Lootas idea I support.

Snikrot only fails me against marines, but it almost always in my list with two burnas to use as power weapons against marines. It helps, but not usually enough (TY GW staff for I2 & FC)

If it works for YOU, then it isn't never a wrong choice. With Love, Mao.
