Default 2500 point mech assault tournament list

got a 2500 point tournament next month and i am thinking about running this list. all i really did was just slap another 500 points onto my 2k list using just what i have on hand but i am still open to any CC.

Something that I have noticed is that you can use your nobz as troops choices. Also, you can take special weapons with your kommandos, I would say go for burnas because of power weapons and template weapons killing swathes of regular infantry.
I have one question: do your boyz with no transports hop into the BW turn 1 and take off?
Other than that, no real improvements can be taken here.

lol ok there is 2 burnas in the kommandos i just missed it when posting today.
next i have 6 troop choices so the nobz will have to stay as elites.
yes the 20 boyz get in the BW turn 1.

He already has 6 troop choices so the nobz have to stay elites. I would agree about the kommandos though. Strip a nob biker from the list to give them a pair of burnas, or take a few toys off thew truks and wagons to do so. Maybe strip both off and add a buggy as well for a further distraction unit.

the have burnas i just did not list them. was thinking about buggys in place of koptas.

I´d drop the boarding planks on the trukks, theyre useless on them, since if you drive 18" you cant use it, and you should go flat pedal when rushing with em trukks, atleast thats what I do anyways :D

I´d also get some armour plates on the bw´s, automatically being stunned on a penetrate (guaranteed.) sucks, and 10 pts to get them into the fray > all

Ooops, sorry. That is a pretty good list there.
The nob bikerz will either destroy all or take every shot before they die, saving your army from a full round of shooting allowing you to get to the assault relatively unscathed. I have witnessed this before. 3 bikerz can almost survive 2 Leman Russ tanks firing at them along with 2 full squads of guardsmen using First Rank Fire, Second Rank Fire. They all died, but my team lasted one turn longer and they only dealt 4 wounds.

lol yeah zipding that is how it works most of the time.

i have the boarding planks to help deal with other troop transports. if i deploy and assault a transport my unit will just get flamered the next trurn, but if i use my planks it forces them to assault my transport so then i get the assault on my next turn. yes moving flat out stops me from using them but moving at that speed stops your from doing anything.
