not a big fan of the koptors, but maybe thier scoutting / outflank ML to rear armor might come in handy? So far used to use lootas and a kommando squad, want to go full mobility now though

I'm also not a big fan of the koptors. So I say first list.

Uhmmm....

Man, those are some small Mobs...

Are you really sure you want to run a bike army for orks?

Basic issue is morale. If you take any kills your "squads" will have to check morale, and at 7's and 8's it is goodbye as they hike off into the sunset. They can run off pretty fast too bikes.....

I can't think of a weaker army list or unit for ANY army than an ork warbike list.

Morale is the reason not to do it.

Sometimes "liking the models", or "liking the idea" needs support in terms of useful stats.

OTG.

Agreed. It really only works at high point lists where you can field squads of twelve at the outset across the board.

My only question do you think the special character is worth his 180 points. If so keep him. I like your second list a little better because it gives you some variety.

Unfortunately, Wazdakka is needed to produce an all bike army. He is not worth the points, purely because of no inv save in combat; but then again you try not to get him in combat wit hanything other than vehicles.
He is extremely characterful though.

Personally, I would go with list 2. But actually drop the Boss to put more boyz in the mobz.
Then:
Give the Nobz a Waagh Banna
&
A Bosspole for that last boyz mob.

You could probably get away with only 2 PKs in the Nobz (that is another bike for the boyz).
You use the Deffkoptas as opportunists.
Wazdakka can stay close to the Nobz or divert if something shiny comes up.

Anyway, it will look impressive ..... and lots of Dakka
