The pallet is awesome, drop the soap and grab another pallet. 90 bucks is the magical free shipping number.

Anyway, on topic...

You could do a lot of small things for him, like breakfast in bed, then spending a day doing nice things like going for a walk on the beach (clichéd, I know; I couldn't think of a good example), et cetera, then at the end of the day you could give him a nicely wrapped present (with a ribbon and everything) with, say, a really good quality brush (or brush set) in it.

But if you don't want to have to organise it as much, the other ideas are just as good. Especially the thong one

Organizing things are a pain in the ass...especially when he doesn't eat breakfast. He also won't be able to walk for a while, and there's no beach nearby, so no cliched walks on the beach. Hahaha!~
Think I might end up getting us both brushes. :D Easiest solution it seems so far.

I have a brush tutorial in the tools of the trade section. ;).

I think I am going to order a Raphel 8404 to test it. I have S7 and DiVinci but a lot of folks swear by the 8404.

edit: Nope that is even to bad for me. PM if you wanna laugh and see what I said O_o

My dad doesn't like the DiVinci's, but it is a different thing he uses the brushes for. He LOVES the hell out of Kolinsky sable brushes though and they are really really nice, having seen them firsthand.
