I want to get rid of my Hitachi desk star 1tb and I need some new memory what should I get for around the same cost

All in all, there's not even a handful of hard drive manufacturers left. Of those, Western Digital makes the more reliable drives.

Ask not the Eldar a question, for they will give you three answers; all of which are true and horrifying to know.

Ech0..... Western Digital 3TB $149.99. Memory is all dependent on what you have. I am guessing you have a stock machine (HP, Dell). Which means t find out what memory you need you have to put the model number.
