I don't really use sites to buy shit anymore because of several instances where there were some serious delays. Nowadays I get friends in other countries to buy whatever I need and then mail it to me. Got my last two trumpet mouthpieces and my mute that way.

It works because you can threaten unreliable friends with weird porn spam, something you can't really do with a company like Amazon.

The human appendix. Proof of a higher power. A divine kill switch so to speak.

No one really likes a smartass, but people tend to like a dumbass even less.

I have never bought anything via the Internet(z), but tomorrow might be an first time, as I might order Brother-Captain Stern, seeing as it is the last shipping date outside of the UK that will arrive before X-mas...

It is indeed very annoying, as I barely see my brother, and I had ordered an extra PS3 controller along with some new games for me and him to play together, and nothing comes so we couldn't play anything together. It's not as much fun watching each other play. I ordered it off Amazon, who I generally have absolutely no issues with, so I guess it's just a blip really.

I've only experienced this once with Gifts for Geeks, but luckily they have a live webchat thingy, so, all I needed to do was speak to a guy on there, I said I needed it that week, so they sped up the delivery (2nd Class to 1st Class).

I've never bought from the store you're refering to, but it happens all the time I'd imagine.
