Default North Korea Attacks South Korea!

WTF! In the first major hostile move since the Korean war, North Korea has used artillery bombardment of a South Korean island. This situation leads to the escalation of tension between the two countries as (as of the time of writing this) South Korea and the US have both condemned the attack. China, North Korea's closest ally has called for calm in the situation.

So, what impact will this have on the world now? Obviously this is part of Kim Jong Ill's provocation campaign against the western nations, who are allied with South Korea... but to what end?

South Korea accused North Korea of being n00b zerg-rushers, so North Korea hates them. FACT

What are the chances of this escalating? Like beyond just north vs south?

South Korea and US...then North Korea and china? Is the US got involved I can see England getting involved too...

It's about communism vs capitalism, and old wounds from the Korean War that never healed in the 50 years since the cease-fire.

Anyway, since North Korea is a nuclear power, and desperation and crazy combined are outrageously dangerous, there's a pretty solid chance of this escalating. Especially since the US and the worthless UN security "forces" are already hanging out around the demilitarized zone.

It would hard for England to get involved as England doesn't really have an army, unless you're just going to ship over some of your Football fans?
