Alas this is all too common. I'm in a college class of 14 and only me and one other person don't smoke. Thats 12 people and out of them 9 of the 12 that smoke are girls. Makes me wonder what the hell.......anyway back on topic.

I actually asked one of the guys at my local and he said that most people who get the perma-ban go unseen. they ar enormaly just passers by and not regulars and msot of them for atempted theft. The onyl one i knwo about was when a kid pushed another down the stairs. The kid that did it kept calling every week to ask if he could come back.
As with theft i have seen a few things but hell one time one of my mates left his modal behind so i informed the staff and said that i'll keep it with my stuff so when we would be both back agian next week i would be able to give it to him and not hassel the staff to remeber whos modal is whos. My local guys are great (the maneger is trying to find an only Chimera/Basalisk instruction book for me as force world didn't send me one)

A little kid at my local, who had been a regular, had been a good player, hood hobbyist, earned himself a ban when he (for some unknoweable reason) tried to steal six or so blister packs (equalling over AU$150) in the pockets of his cargo pants.

The worst part, the part I can`t forget, is the look on the kid`s mother`s face.

Well I imagine it would have been both anger and sadness, given she just found out her son was stealing (and not petty theft either).

Maybe you hit him too hard?

But I don't know of anyone who was banned, apart from one, who got caught stealing and got told to get out. Other than that, noone at my local indie has been kicked out.
