Just quit my job of 3 years...not really a boast, but I called my dad telling him that I quit and he told me he actually knows a guy looking for someone right now, I'm gonna go meet him in a few hours. my 6 years in customer service/retail should be coming in handy right now!!!

Coworker just describe me hoisting a large, heavy fish tank up from the floor to the spot on it's stand that was around shoulder height as "beast mode". That was kinda cool.

So this Saturday my band is having our pre-release concert for our debut-album. Being the one in charge of the concert, there have been a lot of things that had to fall into place for it to be what I wanted it to be, so I have been pretty stressed out about it.

The last piece just fell into place today, as we got the exclusive t-shirts that we want to sell at the concert, along with confirmation that the 4 event girls will be coming to the concerts to serve shots to our fans. I cannot express how relieved I am about everything coming into place.

Now I can finally sit back and absorb everything that has happened. Getting a record-contract, releasing a full-length album worldwide, getting rave reviews from critics in multiple countries and now a pre-release concert with booze, tits and rock'n'roll. A childhood dream finally coming true after working on it for the better part of 10 years.

Am I a happy camper? Oh shit yes!

(But don't speak to me Sunday, as I will be too hung-over to acknowledge any sort of happiness on that account)

I've recently discovered two things about mac n cheese

1) If you mix the cheese in with the milk while you're still cooking the noodles, it mixes much better in the end.

2) Dairy creamer instead of milk makes it taste delicious.

As someone who eats mac n cheese religiously, this is progress for me

Death Korps W1 T0 L1

Dark Elves W0 T0 L0

So only 4 days until my bands album is released on Spotify, Wimp, Amazon and other medias worldwide. At this point I'm pretty damn psyched I must admit.

We have been getting good reviews though:

White Room Reviews (NL) - Positive
Keys and Chords (NL) - 4/5
Hallowed (SE) - 5/7
Calles Rock Corner (DK) - 5/6
Shout It Loud Reviews (US) - Positive
El Gore (LU) - Positive
Dark Planet (PL) - 4+/5
Metal Temple (UK) - 7/10

Oh and here is a little taste of the pre-release concert that went down this Saturday in my hometown:

Needless to say, it was one HELL of a concert. It was the first time ever we had a crowdsurfing :D
