Default Real-life Zombie Invasion- Weapons, Gear, Who would You Take?

DeusMortemEst's post kicked me out of my head and to ask this of you (I ask this to everyone, my parents, brother, friends, relatives):

What would you use as a weapon? No Katanna's, Minniegun's, Rocket Launchers or anything that you either don't have or wouldn't be able to handle well. For example, I'm fairly small so I can't run about with a chainsaw. Also, it has to be somewhere in your home, or school, or very nearby area.

What transport would you use? Unless you actually have a US Army tank or a limo, well, you get the picture. If you don't have a licence, pretend that you do.

What supplies would you bring? Consider what fits into your transport.

And lastly, who would you bring along? This question might lead to bitter rivalries, broken relationships and other such nastiness.

Think fast, for the time may come sooner than you think.

ok this is going to sound weird, firstly i get my viking axe and sharpen it, get my shield (5 foot 2" tall tear drop shield) Grab my chainmail, gauntlets, full face helmet, and sword. Get in my ute and drive to my friends place where i meet not only my girlfriend but around 20 of my friends a dozen of which pile into the troop carrier my friend has in his backyard, all wearing atleast gauntlets helmets and equiped with swords, axes, spears and shields some of which are wearing full plate armour, we all drive up the coast to property where we are constructing a fort... (which we're already doing now) at which point we all gather (roughly 40 or so of us plus family and friends) and yeah "hold the fort" so to speak.

Just so it makes more sense, i'm a medieval reenactor and so weapons and armour is more than common amongts my friends and we're already prepared for the zombie invasion... just in case.

Why no Katanas? I have them, they are in my house, they are true forged Katanas and being 220lbs and 6' I am fairly sure I could handle it and I can tell you now that I definitely WOULD bring it. Beyond that, a hammer maybe.

I would put all the food and clothing I could quickly grab into my car.

My wife and son

It has already begun.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

I'd crank up the clapped out Vauxhall Astra, grab my GW issue modelling knife a 18" Necromunda range ruler and my metal dreadnoughts for fire and forget ranged combat.

Quite frankly i'd be shit.

What I meant was unless you really have them, which I seriously doubted of many of you. Sorry for confusion.

I'd take that metal pole outside my house with this weird mop thing, which seems to be good for bashing heads in, get my Dad's Lexus, my CD collection, laptop, and drive to random locations running over undead and beating them to death with sticks.

I'd take my family, and my four best friends.

In other words, I have no idea where to go. Airports would be filled with zombies, and so would jetties and such.

I'd just grab my huge sword it cost me 200 quid it'd be about right to make it useful
My dadsgot a few shotguns around but I'd prefer using a sword.
