Default Anyone else ever lost a Lottery ticket?

Don't you just feel so stupid? Really, when it's your way both out of your job, and to buy even more toy soldiers, losing a ticket is really, really careless.

Normally, I don't even enter, seeing as my odds of winning are astronomically low, but tonight's draw was 66 Million (66 000 000 British pounds = 97.11900 million U.S. dollars, US Heretics) and I figured, what the heck. The only consolation is that no-one won, and so it rolls over again, for an 89million jackpot next week...think I'm going to enter then too...but I certainly won't lose the ticket!

So, anyone else ever done this?

When the lottery first started in Texas I bought some tickets when it hit 175 mill. Not fully understanding the lottery mechanics (which I am well versed now) I hit on five numbers. Pissed off I ripped up the tickets and threw them in the trash. I would have won 250K. Does this count?

Please level my Daemons I want them to grow up and be fierce.

Oh, snap. That is all.

You'll forgive me, but you must be mistaken. I've met your makers, and they don't even know your name...

Nothing like throwing away a quarter mil out of anger. Ah well, your better off without it. Everyone that wins big money always turns into a cock anyway, so count yourself lucky you still are liked by other people!

I heard theres more chance of you getting run over on the way to get the ticket then actually winning.

But ouch, quater of a million just ripped up.

Oh....that must of hurt....

My Granddad recently won a tenner (The biggest fortune it seems you can win on the lottery) and put the ticket on the mantle piece for safe keeping. A second later, the card slipped down the back of the fireplace. Not half as bad as loosing 250K mind.
