Default Dumbest thing someone said to you?

What is the dumbest thing someone has ever said to you? Personally it would have to be when someone asked me to lend them an M rated game (they were seven) because they thought they were old enough already.

Probably, "who's george washington?" followed by a discussion on how linkon being on the penny is verry misleading because it implies his number is one.

To modify a clowns words... WHY SO STUPID!?

ps: for those of you who dont live in the US and dont understand this, we have Washington's life story shoved down our throught from sutch an early age that we dont even notice it by the time were 5.

My work exposes me to a wide range of idiocy

First place: Kid with knife "Give me the money."
Second place: Everything else I've ever heard at work.

It's 'Lincoln', not 'Linkon'.

'At two minutes to eleven, opposite the South African Brigade, at the eastern-most point reached by the British armies, a German machine-gunner, after firing off a belt without pause, was seen to stand up beside his weapon, take off his helmet, bow, and then slowly walk to the rear.' -John Buchan

I have many of them on a daily basis. They go a little something like this. (court case situations)

Judge = Judge
Prosecution = Myself representing my Client.
Defendant = Who is being sued by my Client.

Background: First off I am a contract Lawyer; what happened was a dry waller had signed a written contract for my client stating that he would have the drywall up in a building by August 22nd (not the real date cant use it for confidentiality). He basically was maybe half way done by the agreed upon date making everything else fall behind. So if costed my client an extra 50,000 dollars to get two other companies to get in their and finish the job in a decent amount of time to allow for the project to hopefully get cough up. This is where the stupidity comes in:

The Court Room:

Judge: Prosecution you are suing the defendant for 80,000$ for failing to meet the agreed upon contract correct?
Prosecution: Yes your Honor.
Judge: And you Mr.____'s defense is that you were not given enough time to complete the task correct?
Defense: Yes your Honor.
Judge: State your Case Prosecution.
Prosecution: Well sir Mr.____ signed this Contract stating that two weeks to complete the interior dry wall would be enough time.
Judge: Bailiff please get the statement.
Judge: Mr.____ it clearly shows you agreed to this time frame. What is your defense?
Defense: It was not enough time there was no way my men could have finished the job in that time.
Judge: Then why did you sign this Contract stating you could.
Defense: Because it seemed like enough time at the time.
Judge: So let me get this straight. You agreed to the time line because you figured you wanted the job and then fail to meet the terms of agreement?
Defense: Well... Yes I wanted the Job.
Judge: Judgement for the Prosecution in the amount of 95,000$ + Court Costs. you will get your 80,000 and 15,000 for his negligence.

This is the kind of shit I have to deal with almost on a daily basis. Now this was one of the funnier ones / best outcomes. 95,000 for my client for literally doing nothing. This was not what was said word for word I got rid of the larger words and the court 'Lingo' but ya.

I.Q Dropper for sure.

Cheers,

Chaosftw

Said to me? Wanna say it'd have to be "How much is 25 cents worth?"

I honestly believe the person just had the most massive brain fart in all existence to have screwed that one up.

Course, my personal "How old were you when you were a teenager?" isn't much better.

I had a girlfriend called Donna in the mid nineties. There was a national rail strike on in the UK at the time and it went like this;

Donna "I agree with the striking train drivers"

Me (after nearly choking on my pint at this from a girl who decorated cakes for a living and normally restricted conversation to "pernod and black please") "Why is that then"

Donna "Because it is a really skillfull job steering that long train along those narrow rails"

However she was very attractive!

Like this country's youth knows how to spell anymore. Or use proper grammar anymore for that matter. It's a long lost art.

As for the question,
"Is this your army?" As I was pulling out and setting up about 4,000 points of Lizardmen out of my various cases, and talking to the person I was about to play.
My response was "No I just like these models, I don't know whose army this is."
Their response was 'Well I don't think the owner would like you touching their models."

Common sense isn't so common anymore.
