Signed. If Governments put as much time into solving problems like this as they do covering them up then the world would be a far better place.

I'll help support, signed the list (no.3249).
Thanks for making me aware of KGR, gonna look further into it. Is this stuff like 'Agent Orange'?
And for those in the military, huge respect to all of you. May you be in good health, and be back home as soon as you can. I think it's outrageous that you guys are expected to fight and are treated like disposible meat.

Really hope it helps (PChandler et al),
Dusty

FYI it's KBR Dusty.

Quote:
KBR, Inc. (formerly Kellogg Brown & Root or Kick Back & Relax) NYSE: KBR is an American engineering and construction company, formerly a subsidiary of Halliburton, based in Houston. After Halliburton acquired Dresser Industries in 1998, Dresser's engineering subsidiary, The M. W. Kellogg Co., was merged with Halliburton's construction subsidiary, Brown & Root, to form Kellogg Brown & Root. KBR and its predecessors have won many contracts with the U.S. military during the 2003 invasion of Iraq, as well as during World War II and the Vietnam War.

KBR is the largest non-union construction company in the United States.[1]

Signed for moral support, but online petitions have never accomplished anything.
This same group (with the support of various petitions, including online ones) pressed congress for a new G.I. Bill which was passed. This new bill gives service members 100% tution plus housing costs based on the area they live at an E-5 (Sgt in the Army) with dependents rate. Which in my home town is about $1700 a month on top of whatever tuition costs. Yes...online petitions do something

/signed pat, thank you for the heads up on this...

Trevor_Drake: If you invested $1,000 in Delta Airlines last year, you would have made $43. In AIG, you would have made $33. In Leihman Brothers you would have made $0. Spent that money on beer and recycled the empty cans, you would have made $214. I call it a 401-keg.
Trevor_Drake: Americans walk roughly 900 miles per year, and consume on average 22 gallons of beer a year, so the average american gets 41 miles to the gallon!
