I can't even imagine what being over there is like so I am glad to hear that Heresy helps you get by.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

oh definitely, its nice to have a forum where you can actually say stuff thats on your mind and actually tell a joke without having more moderators jump over your back than you find dogs in a 1970's bestiality movie.

and of course any Forum which talks about more than bloody space marines day in and day out, 24/7, 365days a freaking year, causing severe arterial hemorrhaging from extreme boredom and stupidity is always a good thing *hint big freaking bloomin hint*

I didn't have any Interweb when I was deployed to the various craptastic shitholes they sent me to, back in the '90s.

I recall on both trips to Saudi one of the guys was smart enough to have his wife send over his Playstation and a lot of games.

So Playstation and a LOT of movies on VHS was what got me through my little deployments.

You got it worse than I did on so many levels, but at least you have Heresy to turn to.

Sorry to hear about the injury, brother. Good luck with the weight loss.

Rep to you for being there and Good Lord, man, get home safe!

'At two minutes to eleven, opposite the South African Brigade, at the eastern-most point reached by the British armies, a German machine-gunner, after firing off a belt without pause, was seen to stand up beside his weapon, take off his helmet, bow, and then slowly walk to the rear.' -John Buchan

That'd be awesome, we'll be just like the Americans in WWII, we'll take up space, drink all the booze and teach kids every swear word in the book
