Default Just a feel good moment

So last night was halloween. I bought a big ol bag of candy for all the kids who came to the door. So I had the tv volume turned down lower than normal, sat on the edge of the couch, and waited in anticipation. I had NO kids show up. It's good to note that I live in an apartment complex. A really nice one with lots of people, right in town. Should have been a lot of kids. About 8:30 I'm fixing to shut the porch light off and eat the candy myself when I get a knock on the door! Yay, kids! I open it and it's my neighbor and her two little girls. Both of them dressed up as Elsa from Frozen. Now for the feel good moment. THEY brought ME candy! They reverse trick or treated me! It was just so cute! Needless to say, they pretty much got my entire candy bucket lol. My neighbor is great and her little girls are sweet.
Just thought I'd share something good. Hope everyone had a great halloween!

All the good vibes! I can't wait to get out of this apartment building I live in so that I can hand out candy to kids. Hopefully there's more trick or treaters than you experinced last night.

Unfortunately Canada got rid of the penny and now my two cents rounds down to zero, so...take it for what you will.

Had a bunch of friends over for pie, candy and 6 hours of board games. Life is good.

Thats pretty neat. Our neighborhood is pretty dead now, so not very many kids show up, if any at all. Mainly its all about Trunk or Treating at the local churches, of which there are a metric fuckton here.

I had a safe Halloween, but not a really fun one. I had to work. Ah well, at least I got some hours out of it, where instead I'd have just sat at home watching horror movies.

My youtube channel. Feel free to stop by and have a look if you're interested. I do Airsoft, some warhammer related videos, and gaming videos.

R.I.P. Uncle Lee. You will be greatly missed by us all. We will see each other again some day.

I'm a plumbing contractor and had to work late last night. My customer came to the door and said "that's the best plumber costume I've seen all night!" And insisted I take some candy. Lol

Strange, but not a Stranger.

@DeathKlokk That's funny! At least you got yourself some candy!
Trunk or treat is a huge thing here as well. There's pretty much either a bank or a church on every corner. Quite a few spots in town where at a 4 way stop, there is a church on each corner. I honestly don't think there are enough people in this town to fill every one of them up.

Great story. One of the things I hate about having to move into an apartment a few years ago is that there are no trick or treaters. I can't wait to get back into a house soon, I love dressing up and handing out candy to the kids. It's always been a blast.
